U can buy a software called ‘ NTFS FOR MAC OS X’(google it then click the first link result.The software is made by a firm called Paragon). Once installed on your mac os, Any NTFS hard drive will now read and write without any problem at all on the mac.
true, but instead of paying 30bucks for paragon, you can get it for free with the newest ntfs3g and macfuse drivers! just works perfect - plug&play/automaount and its fast!
yeh true! my statement is kinda old. Im also using Macfuse and ntfs 3g now. Its free and it works good bt there is one thing i still havent figured how to do; how do u make it work with spotlight so it easy to find your files on your hard drive?
yeh! i was wondering…how do u make spotlight work with NTFS 3g hard drives? Everything works fine except that i cant search for my files using spotlight. i have to manually scroll through my files and folders to get what i want. Can you help me?
